Visiting a day or salon spa is a great way to pamper and rejuvenate yourself. Day spas offer a wide range of spa treatments and day spa packages, including massages, facials, body wraps, manicures and pedicures; as well as sauna and whirlpool facilities.

Stay Spas include everything from resort and hotel spas to all-inclusive destination spas that focus on a particular programme and help you reach your goals. Getaway to a spa in the city, by the beach, in the mountains - whatever your pleasure may be.

At medical spas, you'll find doctors and nurses working alongside spa therapists. Medical spas offer medical and cosmetic treatments in a spa environment, and some offer overnight accommodations for procedures that require recuperation.

Wellness treatments at medical spas can run the gamut from executive health screenings to addiction therapy programs to acupuncture and thermal waters. The connection between mind, body, and spirit is often emphasized.

Common cosmetic treatments at medical spas include BOTOX® and filler injections, laser hair removal, cellulite treatments and chemical peels. Most services offered are minimally invasive and require little downtime.

Comfortable UK Hotel Rooms for Just £9 per night

Travelodge always provide great value for money with their comfortable hotel rooms without unnecessary trimmings which bump up the cost. They have comfortable Hypnos beds and most locations now offer optional breakfast and/or dinner in their bar café. The buffet breakfast includes cereals, pastries, fruit and full English cooked breakfast. Just help yourself.

Last week I stayed in two different Travelodges in the London area. The normal room price is £70 but sometimes Travelodge offer a number of rooms at a discount rate.

That time is now. For any stays in December and January, Travelodge are offering UK hotel rooms for just £19 per night.

For stays in February, March and April 2009, they offer a limited number of rooms at £9 per night. That is cheaper than staying at home!

Treat yourself and your loved ones to a short break - visiting friends and family, shopping, sightseeing or enjoying a show or sporting event. Book your £9 per night room at Travelodge right now.

Comfortable UK Hotel Rooms for Just £19 per night

Travelodge always provide great value for money with their comfortable hotel rooms without unnecessary trimmings which bump up the cost. They have comfortable Hypnos beds and most locations now offer optional breakfast and/or dinner in their bar café. The breakfast is excellent and I am fussy!

Last week I stayed in Travelodge Croydon for £32 then two nights in Travelodge Tolworth for £45. The normal price is £70 but sometimes Travelodge offer a number of rooms at a discount rate.

That time is now. For any stays in December and January, Travelodge are offering UK hotel rooms for just £19 per night.

Yes, just £19 per night. That price is per room, not per person and each room offers a double bed and a sofa bed so 2 adults + 2 children can stay for much less than in a B&B.

They also have rooms in Spain from €20 and Ireland from €39.

Everything you need and nothing you don't
This is what Travelodge say about their service:
* Our hotels are equipped with everything you need for a good night's sleep.
* Unlike other hotel companies we don't provide a trouser press, chocolates on pillows, toiletries or other unnecessary items.
* We keep things simple and consistent because we understand that all you want is a restful place to sleep. This keeps our costs down and therefore we can offer rooms for much less than other hotels.

I strongly recommend Travelodge for a low-cost comfortable stay in the UK, Spain or Ireland.

Enjoy Britain This Autumn with Holiday Inn

I just spent an enjoyable weekend at the Holiday Inn in Shepperton to the southwest of London near the River Thames. I booked an Executive package which included a bottle of real champagne on arrival (no vin mousseux substitute), full buffet and cooked breakfast and use of the leisure suite which comprises a pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. There is also an exercise studio and beauty salon but I did not have time free to enjoy those.

The room was large and very comfortable, even with two single beds for my children. Most hotels just offer a sofa bed but the Holiday Inn gave two proper beds, all with Hypnos mattresses. We also had a mini-bar, trouser press, TV with multi-channels, CD player, a safety deposit box, iron and ironing board. There was even a "pillow menu" with a choice of five types of pillow.

Holiday Inn Hotels
We had a lovely three course meal in the restaurant on the first night and pub snacks on the second as we had been out for lunch. Kids have a choice of five dishes and KIDS EAT FREE when aged under 13 accompanied by an adult. Yummy food with some healthy choices and no chicken nuggets in sight! They also had a placemat with a pirate trail to solve whilst waiting for their food. By the way, KIDS STAY FREE if under 18 and sharing a room with adults.

The breakfast buffet included fresh fruits, yoghurts, cheese, cold meats, cereals, full English breakast plus hash browns, griddle pancakes, five juices, Danish pastries and tea or coffee. It was delicious.

Holiday Inn in the UK have a great autumn promotion on for stays from 20 October until 14 December. At selected hotels, including Shepperton, they are offering two nights B&B from £25 per person per night or include dinner from just £50 per person per night. Prices are based on two people sharing.

UK - Holiday Inn

To make the weekend even more enjoyable, Holiday Inn UK are offering a free glass of wine and late check-out when you join them for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, we had to leave before lunch.

We had a lovely weekend and the cost was very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend the Holiday Inn.
